FAQs

  • What is sourdough?

Sourdough is naturally leavened bread, meaning no additional leavening agent or commercial yeast is added. In its simplest form, sourdough is basically just fermented dough (flour, salt and water) in which naturally occurring yeast cultures enable a good rise. Pretty neat!

  • How should I store my bread?

For the first 2-3 days, you can keep your bread on the counter wrapped in paper or a bag. If you want to keep it as fresh as possible, slice it on day 1 and pop what you won’t eat that day into the freezer. Defrost as needed and enjoy!

Because there are no added preservatives, our bread will last on the counter for 4-5 days—eat it or freeze it before then! Oh and while we have you…do not store bread in the fridge!

  • Do you offer gluten free bread?

No—unfortunately not! We currently have no plans to introduce GF breads at this time due to our current baking capacity. However, there are plenty of local GF-friendly bakers around the city you could explore!

  • Make anything other than bread?

    You bet…stay tuned 😎
